TRAINING RATES

Callegari Equestrian Center has always attracted numerous independent Trainers who come
to the Club to provide services. So there is training in the usual English and Western skill sets
available. However, due to our location training in other areas is possible. So if your bored at
other facilities you will probably think we are the Bomb!

Further, we are the only facility in the Greater Houston Area that has direct access to MILES of
trails. This opens a world of other events up to our clients!

Trainers at the Club tend to base their programs on natural horsemanship techniques, which
start in the round pen, for bonding, and teaching respect. Then the horse graduates to the
round ring for flexation and balance. Lastly, arena work can begin. When developing specific
skill sets in some disciplines the Horse may move out of the round ring faster than in others.

The numerous Trainers, and groups, also attend various Breed Specific Shows as well as
Open, All Breed Shows. This is fun and fits right in with our overall goal of continuous growth.
And it is fun. Everyone supports each other.



RATES:
We have tried rate regulation in the past for all the trainers but found it is hard to
cover the various skill sets under 1 rate posting. So we will post a basic rate here
that is on the average. But you will need to contact each Trainer directly to verify
their current training rates.

Month Breaking training  (board is paid to Callegari and training portion to the Trainer)            
2 month commitment for satisfactory results is required by most of them
...horse put on Walker everyday / groomed / turned out / round pen
...bonding / taught to take the saddle / backed / rode 23-28 days a month

Training "by the ride"                                                                                   
...if hauling into the facility please add $10.00

Month Conditioning  (board is paid to Callegari and training portion to the Trainer)
...horse put on Walker everyday / groomed / turned out / handled round pen

Month Halter Training in Quarter Horse or Arabian (board is paid to Callegari and training portion to the
trainer)         
...horse put on Walker everyday / groomed / turned out / taught how to show in respective breed style
...Sporthorse halter also available as well as Showmanship for youngsters


CLUB CARD PROGRAM FOR HAUL INs
Right to haul in and use the facility for 6 months. One horse per visit. Limited
availability so book early.
